The Summer Reading Program. This year's Summer Reading has weekly prizes for babies, kids, and teens that read during the summer. We have great events planned, including animal encounters, field days, crafts, and a backpack give away to finish the summer season.
3 important things to remember about Summer Reading:
1. The goal of Summer Reading is to continue to build whole-family literacy by offering an encouraging environment and fun activities.
2. Everyone is welcome at Summer Reading, not just Dearborn Heights residents. Have family from out of town, or out of the country visiting this summer? The more the merrier!
3. All of this is free. Prizes do not cost money. Programs do not cost money. This is completely free for all families.
